Adaptive Adventures Special Benefit Premier of The Movement

It will be an incredible and unique family friendly affair, with proceeds benefitting Adaptive Adventures.
A
daptive Adventures is a Wilmette-based nonprofit that provi des outdoor sporting opportunities to people with physical disabilities, such as skiing, water skiing, cycling and kayaking. Last year, they were chosen as the nonprofit partner for a film about adaptive skiing called The Movement.
The Movement, narrated by Robert Redford and ski legend, Warren Miller, with music by U2, Foo Fighters and KD Lang, premiered at Sundance in January 2012 and received acclaim from critics across the country.
The reception will feature savory fare accompanied by a wine tasting provided by Maria’s Wines. We are very excited that filmmaker Kurt Miller and athletes featured in the film will be in attendance.
